These are the foods that are sold daily. Other delicious treats are sold on a daily basis. For Fried Food Day on Thursday, they offer cheesy treats that make your day.

Here are some interviews done and some suggestions.

“I absolutely love the fish burgers, they are so tasty and big. The fish patty is crispy and tender; slotted between the mayonaise,  it makes the fish taste so sweet! The freshness of the tomato and lettuce brings out the full flavour of the tasty burger. The smell and taste of the burger still lingers in your mouth even though the you ate it hours ago. This is a definite try for the fish lovers.” says Jeslyn Peh from 1H.

For the sweet-toothed, there are merigues,  banana cakes, chocolate chip muffins all available. They are sold on a daily basis and prices range from $1 to $2. Here’s another account from one of their frequent customers, Esther Chow of Secondary 2A.

“My favourite dessert? I love their digestive chocolate biscuit! It is bliss for only a dollar -  how cheap can it get? The thicky, creamy chocolate is artfully spread across the crunchy base of digestive biscuit. When you take a bite, the chocolate gives way immediately to the crispy base.  The creamy mixture is neither too sweet nor bland either! A delightful treat indeed!”

Are you salivating yet?  What are you waiting for, rush down to the canteen now!

Anywhere, Everywhere (Singapore)

Goodness Glacious Me!

She walks through the aisles, fanning herself with perspiring hands. She walks. And she walks. And she walks some more. Macdonalds, Breadtalk, Old Chang Kee. Nah, all too typical! She’s looking for something new, something refreshing. And then, she stops.
For tucked in the corner of NEX, is a little shop, with iced yogurts of the most exotic flavours.

What sets this little shop apart from the rest you ask? They change flavours every week, with the long-lasting ‘original’ flavour staying in place. For the sweet-toothed, little drops of heaven can be added in the form of marshmallows, chocolates and sprinkles. Nuts are also available for the health-conscious.

No matter when you buy a cup of frozen delights from this shop, you always have something extra to look forward to. Every day of the week has something different to offer, check out for yourself by clicking on this poster.

Personally, we authors had went down to the NEX franchise to have a taste of what this bit of Utopia is like. We both agreed that the peach flavour for the week was indeed praiseworthy.  Our favourite topping was actually one of the plainest, honey syrup. To us, the humble honey with peach flavoured yoghurt was simple yet most flavourful.

Do go down and try one of their many exquisitely flavoured frozen yoghurts. Its time to give yourself a frosty treat :D
