Netball 'C' Division National Championships
By Margie Ng and Nurin Nazifa 4I
In an exhilarating and electrifying match against Dunman Secondary School, Cedar Girls' Secondary School emerged victorious and came in third in the National ‘C’ Division Championships.
The atmosphere was tense as the two teams battled their hearts out in a suspenseful 40 minute match. The fight seemed endless as the respective teams gave their 110% in every attack and defense. However, while Dunman was strong in their passes and attacks, they were no match for Cedar’s swift reflexes and accurate shots. The crowd burst into high-pitched shrills and cheers every time Cedar scored.
It was a close fight but Cedar persevered on, and eventually beat Dunman with a score of 26 – 18 in the final quarter. This has been the first time that Cedar Netball has actually made it to the Top 4 Nationals.
We at Cedar Editorial applaud the team for the astounding achievements, and we wish them all the best next year!
